Speech and Hearing Month is almost here! This year, SAC will continue to raise awareness about communication health professionals and the critical role they play in assessing and treating communication disorders.
We've created new resources about vestibular disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, tinnitus and language and literacy, all of which will be available on our website beginning in April 2016.
We will also continue to highlight the importance of early identification and intervention — no matter how old you are, the earlier that a disorder is identified, the better your chances are for improvement or even recovery.
At the start of May, we'll also reveal a new and exciting social media campaign, so stay tuned!
